Polymers

We supply many types of polymers of general use in manufacturing notably in the production of a wide range of plastic products from pipes and bottles to plastic film and bags. Key product groups include:

PVC Resin

It is a free flowing vinyl chloride homopolymer resin designed for rigid extrusion applications. It is manufactured by suspension polymerization. Our PVC resin has the following properties that make it suitable for rigid PVC extrusion with high production throughput:

  • Low content of fifines (easy handling and conveying)
  • High bulk density (good material compacting and high production rates)
  • Narrow particle size distribution (easy processing)
  • High melt strength (good for fast processes like pipe and profifile extrusions)
  • High tensile properties (good end product performance)

HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)

High Molecular Weight High Density Polyethylene

This high molecular weight, hexene copolymer is tailored for blown film applications that require:

  • – Toughness and durability
  • – Good processability
  • – Good blending characteristics with HDPE HMW resins

Product Applications

  • – T-shirt bags
  • – Multi-wall liners
  • – Trash bags

LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene Resin)

Low Density Polyethylene Resin can be readily extruded using conventional blown film techniques using melt temperatures between 150 and 170 degrees. LDPE shows good mechanical properties and high optical properties. It shows very good drawdown properties and excellent process-ability. This product contains slip and antilock additives.

This high molecular weight, hexene copolymer is tailored for blown film applications that require:

Application:

  • – Light produce bags
  • – Soft good packaging
  • – Textile Packaging
  • – High Clarity applications

HDPE PE 100 Black

High Density Polyethylene, black colored resin. The product is classified as PE 100 and provides excellent stress crack resistance properties (ESCR) combined with very good long term hydrostatic strength, it has very high impact and stiffness properties.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

Leading PE for pressure pipe, for gas and water distribution, sewage and drainage.

Processing Method: Pipe Extrusion

PP COPOLYMER

It is a block copolymer polypropylene resin and is typically used for industrial and thin wall injection moulding application. It has high melt flow and moulded parts made from this resin typically exhibits good impact, high stiffness and good heat stability.

This product is formulated with nucleating agent and anti-static agent.

Typical Applications

Crates, electrical appliances, thin wall applications and industrial applications. This product is not intended for use in medical and pharmaceutical application.

PVC COMPOUND FLEXIBLE CRYSTAL

Injection moulding compound with good processing characteristics that allow fast cycles and smooth unblemished surfaces on the finished product. Exhibits good weathering and low temperature properties.

LLDPE (for film)
